Welcome, New Families!

Prenatal visits to Worthington Pediatrics are always welcome. Our providers are available and happy to meet with your family. During this visit, prenatal and past health history are reviewed. Anticipatory guidance with respect to breastfeeding, adjusting to life with your new baby, newborn nutrition and care, car seat safety, home safety, and more will be offered.

Your prenatal visit will take place in one of our patient rooms designed for babies, and you will have the opportunity to walk around the office and meet available staff members.

Prenatal visits can be scheduled from 8 am - 9 am, and from 4 pm- 5 pm. Please call our office to schedule your prenatal appointment.

Prenal vists are not required to establish care at Worthington Pediatrics; it is completely up to you. If you do not wish to have a prenatal visit, you simply tell the nurses at your delivery that Worthington Pediatrics is your child's pediatric office and the they  will notify us of your child's arrival. It's that simple to get established.

Before your baby arrives.

Read our Frequently Asked Questions.

Make sure we are a provider for your insurance plan.

Once your baby arrives.

If you deliver at North Florida Regional Medical Center during the week, one of our pediatricians will round on you and your baby while you are in the hospital. If you deliver on the weekend, the on-call physician will round on your baby. Before you are discharged, you will be told when to make your baby's first appointment at our office, typically when they are between two to seven days old.
